Description
For printing pens, lighters, caps and other Polyethylene, Polypropylene surfaces. The recommended Dynapoll (DY) inks have been developed for printing even untreated PP and primarily pretreated PE surfaces. But they show excellent adhesion and drying on a wide variety of materials, resulting in a semi-gloss, rub-resistant surface. Although they are primarily screen inks, they are also widely used for pad printing tasks (e.g. for printing caps, pens, lighters, advertising gifts).
How can you use it?
Printing: All solvent-resistant emulsions can be used. 90-120# mesh is recommended.
Coverage: by use of 120 # mesh, approx. 55 – 65 square meter.2/kg.
Dilution: 10 - 15% R-126 Thinner .
For printing fine details, or in in hot weather R 27 Retarder , or - according to practical experience -, a Sebolith Gelretarder 070 The use of gel retarder and a small amount of R-126 thinner is recommended.
Drying time in air 15 – 20 minutes. 20 seconds in a drying tunnel at a temperature of 60 °C. – The total adhesion after printing is approx. 1-2 hours.

Applications
Untreated and surface-treated polypropylene and polyethylene sheets, as well as injection-molded workpieces (folders, compartments, batteries, license plate frames, etc.)
A useful accessory for checking the surface treatment and printability is the QuickTest 38 test pen, for more information on its use you can find it here >>
Compatibility: Dynapoll inks can be mixed with Gloss Enamel inks for a brighter and more resistant print. To do this, mix 4 parts Dynapoll and 3 parts Gloss Enamel inks.
The Catalyst of Nylon Bag serie, up to 5%, can be added to Dynapoll inks to increase surface and chemical resistance. – In this case, the mixed ink must be used within a "pot time" of 6 to 8 hours.
Note
For all plastics, it is recommended to carry out a test before starting series production. Plastics may contain plasticizers or mold release residues that can impair the adhesion of inks.
